Founding Partner, Michael A. Fasano Sr. has built his practice based on the firm belief in the importance of practicing law “one person at a time”.  This dedication to the individual client has resulted in building lifelong relationships with clients that spans generations within the same families. He is well respected as a thoughtful and proactive advisor, and, aggressive advocate who both counsels clients and provides strategic advice in difficult or challenging circumstances of their changing life’s circumstances.

A well-known attorney within the greater Waterbury area, Attorney Fasano Sr. has assisted generations of individuals and families from the greater Waterbury and Litchfield communities since 1976. Atty. Fasano, Sr. is a well-recognized family and civil law advocate who has substantial experience in and out of the courtroom. His extensive practice encompasses litigation, family law, contested custody and access matters, prenuptial and post nuptial agreements, personal injury, and civil litigation matters.

In addition to arguing matters in the Superior Courts, including the Regional Family Trial Docket in
Middletown, he has appeared and successfully argued cases before the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court. The depth of his experience plus his commitment to the focus on one person, one client,
one case at a time results in the ability to build relationships as a trusted advisor to clients for legal representation.

In the practice of Family Law, Attorney Fasano’s training as a Special Master provides him with in-depth understanding of the nuances of family court and child custody issues and concerns as related to the court of law. A skilled mediator, he regularly works with family members and other attorneys to facilitate and develop agreements that work for all parties involved.

He has been recognized by the American College of Advocacy as an Advocate. He has also been recognized by the Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court for his work on behalf of the indigent and serves as a court appointed arbitrator in civil and family cases

Attorney Michael Fasano Sr. holds a Juris Degree from the New England School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts.
He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT.  He was admitted to practice in Connecticut in 1976 and by the United States District Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the United States
Supreme Court.
